Authenticity
How do you verify that items are authentic?
Every piece is examined in-house before listing. Our authentication process includes reviewing construction quality, hardware, labels, stitching, date codes, serial numbers, and any available provenance documentation. We do not list items we cannot confidently stand behind.
In addition to sourcing from trusted suppliers we also may rely on third party authentication for added assurance.
Do items come with original receipts or certificates of authenticity?
Some pieces include original documentation; this is noted in the individual product listing when available. Many vintage and archival items predate modern authentication systems, and their authenticity is established through physical inspection rather than paperwork.
Can I request additional photos or information before purchasing?
Absolutely. We encourage it. Contact us with your question and we will respond promptly with whatever additional detail you need.
Item Condition
How do you describe item condition?
We use the following condition grades across our listings:
- Excellent / Mint — Virtually no signs of wear. May be unworn or worn only once.
- Very Good — Light signs of wear consistent with careful use. No significant flaws.
- Good — Visible signs of wear or minor imperfections, clearly noted and photographed. Still a strong piece with character.
Any flaws — however minor — are disclosed in the listing description and captured in photographs. We do not hide imperfections.
Sizing
How should I approach sizing for vintage pieces?
Vintage sizing does not correspond to modern sizing conventions. A vintage size 10 may fit like a contemporary size 6. We strongly recommend relying on the measurements provided in each listing rather than the labeled size.
In addition, some of our products are European brands which may have different sizing standards than the US.
Measurements are listed flat and include bust, waist, hips, and length where applicable.
What if I’m unsure whether something will fit?
Reach out before you buy. We are happy to take additional measurements or describe the fit in more detail. Because all sales are final, we want you to feel confident in your decision.
Shipping & Returns
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. Because our pieces are one-of-a-kind, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Please review our Shipping & Returns page and feel free to ask questions before purchasing.
How long does shipping take?
US standard shipping takes 5–7 business days ($8, or free on orders $200+). Express shipping takes 2–3 business days ($15). International orders ship to 27 countries at carrier-calculated rates; delivery times vary by destination.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
